Woman Throws Food at Wendy's Customer

Tuesday, Jan. 31

4:21 p.m. — Police received a call about a woman throwing food at a customer inside . Officers said the woman, who has a no trespass order, left before police arrived, as did the other customer. Police were not able to find the woman and said she would be summonsed to court for trespassing.

4:56 p.m. — A woman came into the lobby and said a woman has been harassing her at her place of work in Danvers. The woman said her car had been keyed overnight while she was home in Salem a few days prior.

5:31 p.m. — Police said a wallet was found in .

5:39 p.m. — While patrolling , police said they saw a woman who was slated to have a no trespass order served, which was signed by a mall security guard. When the officer approached the woman, she was told she was about to have a no-trespass order served. A security guard was also present. When the officer told her she was banned from entering the mall for a year, she refused to take her copy. The officer told her that the order would still be in effect even if she didn't take the copy. The woman told the officer she didn't have to listen to him, and he's not her father. She was told she would be placed in custody and she said "I'll leave when I'm ready." When the officer opened the door to have her leave, "she started to shoot off her mouth by swearing." People began to stop. When she was being placed in custody, there was a brief struggle and the officer and suspect, , ended up on the ground.

5:50 p.m. — Police said shoplifters at an Essex Street store were reported. Converse sneakers were stolen.

6:19 p.m. — A possible boat fire was reported on Congress Street. There was no fire and someone was living on the boat, police said.

7:08 p.m. — Police said a box in the road was reported at Dalton Parkway and Warren Street Court. The box was removed.

7:13 p.m. — A stolen purse was reported at .

8:17 p.m.— A small white dog was found on Salem Street. Police said Ace the Jack Russell was later reunited with his owner.

10:12 p.m. — Police said a porch light flashing was reported on Outlook Hill Road. The responding officer said there was no problem and a door was left open by accident.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

1:23 a.m. — Police said a suspicious motor vehicle circling the parking lot at was reported. The car was reported because it is similar to one that has been involved in multiple car breaks. Police were not able to locate the vehicle.

6:37 p.m. — Wires down on Salt Wall Lane were reported to police.

10:01 a.m. — Identity fraud via the Internet was reported to police.

10:29 p.m. — A lost watch was reported on Church Street by the mall.

2:32 p.m. — Police said a past hit and run as reported at . A woman said an SUV hit her as she was backing out of a space.
