More than one thousand screaming students filled the field house at Salem High School Wednesday for a pep rally ahead of Thursday's 112th meeting of Salem and Beverly on Thanksgiving Day.

"This week, especially today, is an opportunity for the whole school to show pride in Salem, pride in the high school, and pride in your classes," said SHS Principal David Angeramo.
