VIDEO: Salem Police Get Dunked for Project K-9

Event supported the effort to bring a K-9 unit to the Salem Police Department.

Just over $5,000 was raised during the Dunk-A-Cop event.

Kids, adults, Salemites and visitors sent officers into the tank as well as City Council President Joan Lovely and Mary-Ellen Manning, both candidates for State Senate.
