Fans filled the streets Wednesday after the Boston Bruins beat Vancouver 4-0 to take home the Stanley Cup.
After 39 years, the Bruins did it.
Here are scenes from downtown Salem just after the Bruins defeated the Canucks 4-0 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Celebrations were centered at Derby and Washington streets.
Members of the Salem police and fire departments arrived shortly after the win to keep celebrations safe.
