VIDEO: Salem Celebrates Memorial Day

Salem celebrated Memorial Day Monday morning with a parade down North Street and a ceremony in Greenlawn Cemetary.
The mayor, members of the City Council and School Committee were present at the ceremony. Also present were Rep. John Keenan and Veterans Agent Jean-Guy Martineau. Members of the Salem police and fire departments served as honor guards. Various veterans organizations as well as the Cubs Scouts, Brownies and the Salem High School band also marched in the parade.
