VIDEO: Salem Beer Works Debuts New Look

Salem Beer Works re-opened March 16; Renovations give the brewery and restaurant a bigger bar, booths, more tables, open feel.

People will still recognize , but at the Derby Street restaurant and brewery give it an updated look and feel.

The neon witch sign is still on the brick wall inside the dining room above a bank of TVs.

The witch sign, showing the iconic Salem witch riding a broom, was damaged during the renovation, but should be fixed soon.

"The witch is still in place and the neon will be fixed very, very soon," said Joe Ferrari, director of guest services for Beer Works.

An expanded patio will allow the restaurant to "take care of people who want to sit outdoors," Ferrari said.

Booths have been added, a new feature, and some of the booths have TVs.

The ceiling has also been opened up to expose two skylights for natural light during the day.

Gone are the pool tables and dart boards, but there is a new function room. The brewery remains intact.

"It's the same great beer, great food, great service," Ferrari said.
