The process of tearing down the delapidated Universal Steel and Trading Corp. building on Bridge Street began Wednesday morning, as workers used an excavator to tear down the rear portion, brick by brick.
If you're hoping to catch a glimpse of the rest of the building come down, including the weathered logo on the front, Thursday morning will be the best time to stop by, a worker on site said Wednesday.
The building will soon be replaced with a 120-space parking lot.
