That's a Wrap: Rob Zombie's 'The Lords of Salem Shoot' [PHOTOS]

Rob Zombie wrapped filming of his forthcoming moving The Lords of Salem, last night after spending the week in the Witch City.

Some locations visited during his visit included the Pier, Greenlawn Cemetery, the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall, the , and on Thursday afternoon, Essex Street by Hamilton Street.

The movie's plot takes on themes including the witch trials and a curse on modern day Salem according to Bloody Disgusting News.

Location Manager Murray Miller took some time to chat with us Thursday afternoon about the Salem filming experience as the cast and crew worked on shots on Essex Street.

"When I grow up, I want to move to Salem," said Miller, who first came to the Witch City over Labor Day weekend to scout locations. "It's beautiful. The people are wonderful and could not have been more cooperative," he added.

In particular, Miller mentioned Special Events Coordinator Ellen Talkowsky and the Capt. Brian Gilligan, who he described as "stellar and hard-working people." He also acknowleged the "the support of the City elect" in facilitating the filming process.

Miller said the cast and crew also received a warm welcome from a number of businesses, including Engine House Pizza, where filming occurred Wednesday night.

"They're wonderful people, a great family," Miller said of the Dragons.

One other business that accommodated the cast and crew was , which offered dry space during a rainy shoot at the Witch Trials Memorial Tuesday afternoon.

"I just can't say enough about the city of Salem," Miller said.

As for his personal experience working on the shoot, Miller said he had not met Rob Zombie before production of The Lords of Salem began.

"I knew nothing about him," Miller said. "He's very smart…it turns out he's a really interesting guy, a really interesting artist, and I'm not in his target demographic."

The Lords of Salem is scheduled to hit theaters in 2012.
