leave the guy alone. just because he chose a sport thats out of the ordinary doesnt mean that we have to be judgmental about it. let him have his fun because thats what america is all about.

Will he get the bill for the rescue? I sincerely hope so. It's very loud and I could have done without the repeated fly bys.

Salem has a noise ordinance. That is the proper avenue for a loud parasailer not making someone pay for a rescue. He was not negligent.

A bill for his rescue? Seriously? Next time you take a kayak out, loose your paddle and get rescued by the coast guard, will you want to pay for the rescue? This is why we live in America, this is why we pay taxes. Does this young sport goer pay taxes? If so, he already prepaid for his rescue. Come on.

I think these incidents are all staged. Look at all the money this guy is saving. If he had to pay for front page ads he would be paying a couple thousand bucks. Free advertising!! Very savy on his part!

Free advertising? I think not. I was actually considering doing this until he crashed. Now it's out of the question. He's very lucky he wasn't seriously hurt.
