On Saturday Mayor Kimberley Driscoll took to her Facebook page to address the announcement dogs were allowed back on patios under the new provision and referenced the Salem News article referencing canines' return to Salem dining spots.
"Who let the dogs out?!," Driscoll wrote. "Well behaved canines welcomed back to outdoor dining patios in Salem. #wooftastic."
