Sunscreen Recalled After People Catch Fire

The recall includes UltraMist Sport, UltraMist Ultra Defense and UltraMist Kids.

Banana Boat sunscreen is being recalled after some of the products resulted in users catching fire, according to the Huffington Post.

The voluntary recall includes UltraMist Sport, UltraMist Ultra Defense and UltraMist Kids.

There have been five reports of people suffering burns after using the sunscreen in the past year, according to a spokesman of Energizer Holdings, which makes Banana Boat sunscreen.

The company notified the FDA of the recall. Consumers can call 1-800-SAFESUN for more information about the recall.

OMG! ok, test your sunscreens. Put a little dollop (a teaspoon size) in an aluminum pie pan or other flame-proof vessel. Take it outside to a safe area and set a long match or safety lighter to it. If it catches fire then DON'T USE IT!
