Salem Spring Restaurant Week extended to two weeks!
Due to overwhelming success, Salem Spring Restaurant Week has been extended to include a second week, featuring over 20 of Salem’s finest restaurants. For 10 days only, diners from the Greater Boston area as well as the North Shore can sample Salem’s best cuisine at mouth-watering prices.
Salem Spring Restaurant Week is set to kick off on Sunday, April 3 and continues through Thursday, April 7, then again on Sunday, April 10 through Thursday, April 14. Participating Salem restaurants will offer either a prix-fixe two-course dinner menu for $15, or a prix-fixe three-course dinner menu for $25 (note some restaurants will offer both options and prices do not include taxes, beverages, or gratuities.) The event is sponsored and organized by the Salem Chamber of Commerce.
“Salem’s progressive downtown offers great dining options from beloved institutions to many welcomed, new additions,” says Christopher Polak, Manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Salem. Salem Spring Restaurant Week is the perfect time to sample new restaurants and visit old favorites as chefs prepare a wide variety of dishes for your dining pleasure. With a wide variety of delicious foods — from steak to seafood, American to ethnic, there is something for everyone in Salem.
New additions to Salem Restaurant Week’s great lineup of restaurants include: The Great Escape, housed in what, at one time, was America’s oldest active jail, as well as Lakay Island Restaurant, which has taken over the former Asahi Japanese Restaurant space on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall. Returning restaurants include: 62 Restaurant & Wine Bar, Adriatic Restaurant and Bar, Bella Verona, Café Polonia, Capt.'s Waterfront Grill & Club, Cilantro, Finz Seafood Restaurant & Grill, Grapevine Restaurant, Green Land Café, The Lobster Shanty, The Lyceum, Nathaniel's at the Hawthorne Hotel, Regatta Pub at the Salem Waterfront Hotel, Rockafellas, Salem Beer Works, Seaport Café, Tavern in the Square, Thai Place and Victoria Station.
