Saltonstall to Remain at St. James Next Year
Repairs are expected to be finished by summer 2013.
Saltonstall will remain at St. James on Federal Street for another year, the Salem News reports.
Completion is expected in the summer of 2013.
Students and teachers moved from their Lafayette Street base this past summer to allow for renovations ranging from repair of the heating system to leaks and telephone and data line upgrades, the paper reports.
Asbestos in the building that have been found during construction have been removed, Superintendent Dr. Stephen Russell said. The materials did not come in contact with students or employes in the building, according to the Salem News.
