At approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, police reported an armed robbery at PetSmart on Traders Way.

The suspect was described at a 6 feet tall male wearing a flesh-colored mask and a green windbreaker.

Police said a black handgun was shown.

At 9:57 p.m., authorities reported they found what they believe was the suspect's vehicle, a blue PT Cruiser, on Technology Way.

A be-on-the-lookout was issued to the state and surrounding communities including Swampscott, Peabody, Danvers and Lynn.
