The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:

Friday, Nov. 16:

• At 4:51 p.m., police responded to a reported assault and battery on Winter Island Road. A man there was reportedly issued a summons to appear in court on charges of assault and battery.
• At 5:56 p.m., police learned that a vehicle had been keyed while parked on Leavitt Street.
• At 6:03 p.m., Salem Police Department detectives acted on information about the illegal sale of crack cocaine. Latoya A. Olson, 29, of 5 Pond St., Salem, was arrested on two counts of possessing a class B substance (crack cocaine, ecstasy) with intent to distribute and for having an outstanding warrant. Ismael Pierre-Saint, 31, of 5 Pond St., Salem, was arrested on three counts of possessing a class B substance (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute, three counts of possessing a class B substance (ecstasy) with intent to distribute and for having an outstanding warrant. • At 6:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Paradise Road.
• At 6:56 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bridge and Washington streets involving a Subaru Outback and a Toyota Corolla.
• At 8:51 p.m., David. E. Dion, 48, of 56 Margin St., Salem, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.
• At 10:26 p.m., police responded to a report of a woman throwing furniture out of a window on Lafayette Street. Nicole Louise Conway, 38, of 245 Lafayette St., Salem was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace, malicious destruction of property valued above $250 and disorderly conduct.
• At 11:26 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery on Norman Street. The night clerk at the 7-Eleven on Norman Street told police a white male entered the store and robbed her of $120 at gunpoint. Click Here four our full story.
• At 12:14 a.m., police and fire units responded to a report of smoke coming from an apartment on Bridge Street. The cause of the smoke was determined to be a planter that caught on fire.

Saturday, Nov. 17:

• At 1:07 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Lafayette Street.
• At 1:52 a.m., officers noticed a man stumbling down Lafayette Street singing into a traffic cone. The man was placed into protective custody.
• At 12:28 p.m., a landlord called police to report that a tenant who had just left told him he could keep his $1,500 security deposit and damaged the property. The man told police that all the blinds from the kitchen were taken, a counter top was damaged, all the light bulbs in the house were removed and a hole was drilled in the floor.
• At 2:55 p.m., police learned that a group of older children were throwing rocks and sticks at a dog on Rainbow Terrace. The dog was brought back to the station.
• At 4:08 p.m., Michael D. Lockard, 26, of 59 Beaver Street, Salem, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.
• At 4:24 p.m., a woman called police to report that her car was keyed while parked on Derby Street overnight.
• At 10:16 p.m., someone tried to use a stolen credit card at a Walgreens on Boston Street. The person reportedly left the store before the police arrived. 
• At 10:57 p.m., police and fire units responded to a report of a car on fire at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Loring Avenue. The fire, which was caused by an electrical short, was quickly knocked down.

Sunday, Nov. 18:

• At 12:59 a.m., police responded to a reported break-in at an apartment on Boston Street.
• At 8:23 a.m., police responded to a report of a deer caught in a fence on Broadway Street.
• At 9:55 a.m., a Beckford Street man called police to report that someone threw a brick through the window of his car overnight.
• At 11:03 a.m., a hypodermic needle was reportedly discovered on Tremont Street.
• At 12:33 p.m., police responded to a report of graffiti in the street on Cherry Street.
• At 1:18 p.m., police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Loring Avenue. Jevon A. Smith-Gomez, 24, of 1000 Loring Ave., Salem, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon (knife) and intimidation of a witness.
• At 2:18 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Canal Street. Rodney Clifford, 26, of 82 Michigan Ave., Lynn, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute.
• At 2:24 p.m., a Briggs Street woman called police to report that items had been stolen from her home. The woman said two rings, a candelabra, a statue and a lamp were stolen.

• Joseph E. Harrison Jr., 30, of 24 New Castle Road, Peabody was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.
• Daniel J. Dellisola, 22, of 5 Hazel St., Salem, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. 
• Michael P. Ide, 23, of 5 Hazel St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.
