Salem Police Make 10 Weekend Arrests
The following was provided by the Salem Police. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The Salem Police made the following arrests on Friday and Saturday.
Friday, July 20
Manuel Genao, 24, of 288 Washington St. was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle after a license suspension and possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.
William Enres Hartwell, 41, of 75 Palmer St. was arrested on a charge of illegal possession of a class A substance (heroin).
Kilton Aldon Joyce, 52, who is listed as homeless in Salem was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.
Egles Axander Oviedo Jr., 34, of 248 Washington St. was arrested on charges of possession of a class A substance (heroin), manufacture, distribution or dispersion of a drug and possession with intent to distribute in a school zone.
Saturday, July 21
Johnny Amador DeLeon, 52, of 49 Harbor St. was arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer.
Shannon Doherty, 38, of 14 Willow St. in Beverly was arrested on charges of a one-way street violation and operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor.
Todd Allen McDermott, 22, of 13 Palmer St. was arrested on a trespassing charge.
Michael H. Morency Jr., 26, of 2 Star Ave. was arrested on charges of operating with unnecessary noise, operating an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle after a license suspension.
Cody Zachary-Cha Sousa, 20, of 5 Harrison Ave. was arrested on charges of trespassing and violating the city knife ordinance.
Donald Yancy, 33, of 22 Amity St. Lynn was arrested on a warrant. He was also arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.
