Salem Woman Charged With 2nd OUI With Child Passenger

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:

Thursday, June 13:

  • At 4:29 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Pleasant Street.
  • At 4:53 p.m., a woman entered the police station to report that someone entered her car while it was parked on First Street overnight.
  • At 5:49 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Clifton Avenue.
  • At 6:21 p.m., police responded to a reported aggravated assault and battery on Clifton Avenue.
  • At 6:21 p.m., a Highland Avenue woman called police to report that $250 was stolen from her home.
  • At 6:56 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk woman trying to enter a vehicle with a small child inside. Officers reportedly found a station wagon parked with the engin running on Lafayette Street. Regina L. Maniscalco, 53, of 2 Andover St., Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense and child endangerment while operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
  • At 9:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk woman on Liberty Hill Avenue. Susanna A. Rodgers, 56, of 13 Liberty Hil Ave., Salem, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
  • 9:58 p.m., police received word that a car had rolled into a utility pole on Cushing Street.
  • At 11:52 p.m., police responded to a dispute between a taxi driver and a customer on Margin Street.

  • At 1:52 a.m., police responded to a past assault on Washington Street. Jessica L. Malone, 30, of 149 Federal St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
  • At 2:17 a.m., police responded to a report of women yelling in the street near the intersection of Derby and Hardy streets. Stephanie Louis, 21, of 137 Phillips St., Methuen, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 8:35 a.m., a Brooks Street resident called police to report that two vehicles had been entered overnight.
  • At 8:48 a.m., a Brooks Street resident called police to report that a vehicle had been broken into overnight.
  • At 8:51 a.m., a Horton Street resident called police to report that their vehicle had been entered overnight.
  • At 9:52 a.m., police responded to a dispute on Franklin Street.
  • At 10:20 a.m., an Essex Street woman called police to report that several items were recently stolen from her home.
  • At 11:31 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Hersey Street.
  • At 12:26 p.m., a Willson Street resident called police to report a vehicle break-in.
  • At 2:13 p.m., an Osborne Street woman entered the police station to report that someone entered her car overnight and stole a CD player.
  • At 2:24 p.m., police responded to a report of a man going through a dumpster for scrap metal on Broad Street. The man was advised to stay our of dumpsters.

Other arrest:

Kara M. Malone, 36, of 149 Federal St., Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, attaching false plates to a motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
