Salem Police Investigating Armed Home Invasion on Prince Street
Salem police officers are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a home on Prince Street while armed with handguns Monday night.
Salem Police officers searched the city Monday night for two men who allegedly robbed an apartment on Prince Street while armed with handguns.
At about 10:30 p.m., local police officers responded to a 911 call from a Prince Street apartment building where a second-floor tenant said two men had just burst into their apartment and robbed them at gunpoint.
The two men reportedly fled 45 Prince St. with an iPhone, an iTouch and $1,000 cash, according to scanner reports. Police have yet to locate the suspects.
The Salem Police Department's BOLO alert Monday night described the suspects as being black males, one 6'2, the other 5'10, who were reportedly wearing all black at the time of the robbery.
Salem Patch will be posting additional information as it becomes available.

23 million women own firearms in America and this is why. Crime is on the rise in Salem, so take steps to protect you and those you care about.
Don't be a victim of someones violent recklessness.

I lived on Prince Street only a few houses away. The odds that no one saw these guys as they left are next to nothing.

Its easy to have $1000.0 cash when the tax payers most likely pay the rent. Inquiring minds would love to know!
