Salem Celebrates Retiring Teachers [VIDEO]
Teachers have been honored at various parties and at a recognition ceremony at the Salem School Committee meeting.
As the school year winds down, the district is taking the time to recognize teachers who have dedicated years to educating Witch City youngsters.
At Monday's School Committee meeting, several were recognized and presented with City seals. Others have been honored during various retirement ceremonies.
Congratulations to the following retirees:
- Richard Gaudet — 7 years of service
- Sheila McCredy — 25 years of service
- Mary Cura — 15 years of service
- Martha Tierney — 26 years of service
- Janet Conlon — 21 years of service
- Susan Adams — 15 years of service
- Nancy Pelletier — 25 Years of service — retiring as Principal of
- Sharon Jaworski — 38 Years of service — Elementary Curriculum Coordinator
