Want to Recycle Your Old Books and DVDs?

The Salem Recycling Committee will host their 8th free book swap next Saturday.

Looking for a fun way to get rid of those books and DVDs that are just gathering dust in your home?

The Salem Recycling Committee will host its eighth Free Book Swap next Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Center on Broad Street.

The book swap is the committee's way of encouraging local residents to recycle their unwanted books, greeting cards, and commercial CDs, DVDs and videos.

All books are accepted, including text books and remember - no swap is needed - residents can donate materials, take materials or both.

Drop off will be held on Friday March 15, from 6 to 7 p.m.

For more information about SalemRecycles or the Book Swap, residents are encouraged to call (978)-619-5679 or visit www.salem.com/recycling.

Please note that the bookswap is Saturday, March 16, and not Sunday. Thanks!
