Salem Academy Charter School Gets High Rank

Boston Magazine placed the institution first in its Charter School category.

Boston Magazine recently lauded Salem Academy Charter School for excellence in education.

The school ranked first in Boston Magazine's Best of Boston Charter School category, beating out 21 other charter schools in the region, according to the publication

High marks were also given in the student-teacher ratio category. Salem Academy Charter School tied North Shore Technical High School and Minuteman High School with an 8.7:1 student to teacher ratio, according to Boston Magazine.

"Boston Magazine’s recognition comes on the heels of two additional recent national rankings," representatives from the school wrote in a press release adding that "Newsweek included Salem Academy among the top 500 high schools in the country and ranked the school number 12 in Massachusetts.  The Washington Post ranked Salem Academy number 11."
