Loring Avenue was closed to traffic late Sunday night following a single-vehicle rollover accident that snapped a utility pole in half and left wires hanging across the roadway.

At about 9:30 p.m., police and fire units responded to the turn near the intersection of Loring Avenue and Leggs Hill Road.

The driver and passenger, both females, could be seen standing next to the overturned and totaled vehicle and police on scene said the accident didn't result in any injuries.

National Grid crews were still working to repair the damaged pole at10 p.m.
