Residents Enjoy Free Admission to the Museum of Science This Month

This is the fourth year the Norman H. Read Trust has funded the September Salem Days program.

For the fourth year in a row, Salem residents will be able to enjoy Museum of Science admission free through the month of September thanks to the Norman H. Read Trust.

September Salem Days allows residents general admission to more than 700 exhibits as well as Planeterium shows and viewings at the Omni Theater, according to the City of Salem.

Residents will also have the opportunity to ride on the MBTA free to North Station on Sept. 15 and Sept. 22 as part of the program, and Mayor Kim Driscoll and State Rep. John Keenan will also be leading a trip each, according to the City.

“I would like to thank Dr. Nile Albright and the Norman H. Read Trust for funding this initiative that benefits all of Salem's residents,” said Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll in a press release. “This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to experience a fun day of learning with their children.
