Avalanche, "an outdoor inspired apparel company," will be moving to Front Street soon.

The business, which has a corporate office on Congress Street, will be opening a company store at 24 Front St. — the former location of Sweet Anthem and Fiddlehead.

Avalanche, which has been in existence since 1987, specializes in outerwear and activewear including fleece, according to the business Facebook page.

The company has a factory outlet location in Lynn.
