First Look: Celia's Restaurant in Salem

Here's a closer look at Celia's Restaurant, which recently opened on Congress Street in Salem.

 

Celia's Restaurant, a new Salem eatery offering up Spanish cuisine, opened for business last week at 88 Congress St.

The restaurant has seating for 21 and is located adjacent to Salem Community Child Care and across the street from Congress Market.

There's already a Celia's Restaurant open in New Bedford.

The business' hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

Although the menu for the Salem location hasn't been nailed down, here's a look at menu items included on the menu in New Befdord. 

Breakfast - salami, eggs, fried cheese, yucca, cod fish, boiled green bananas, mashed plantains.

Meats - fried chicken, sauteed chicken, popcorn chicken, rotisseri chicken, steak and onins, beef, oxtail, goat, pork chops, ribs, meatballs, fried pork skin, pork shoulder.

Soups - tripe soup, chicken soup, sancocho.

Side Orders - french fries, sweet plantains, fried plantains, fried yucca, meat patties, ham and cheese patties, chicken patties.
