The Salem Police are looking for a suspect who robbed the Kwik Shop Market & Deli at 10 Jefferson Ave.

The call came in at approximately 7:30 p.m.

According to scanner reports, a Hispanic man in a gray sweatshirt and red knit cap fled on foot after showing a silver handgun.

The man fled toward Winthrop Street.

7:55 P.M. — Police updated the suspect description. The suspect's clothing is described as follows: gray jeans, a two-tone blue winter coat with a yellow zipper with a dark or black hooded sweatshirt under a blue winter coat.
