After a rainy Oct. 1, residents and visitors were out in full force to celebrate the Halloween season.

Visitors from all over the country and the world mingled with residents who enjoyed the first October weekend downtown. On Monday, residents continued to prepare as the season ramps up.

The Haunted Happenings Grand Parade is slated for Thursday, but memorable picture-worthy sights are already all over the city. Be sure to send your Halloween photos to SalemPatch Editor Aubry Bracco. We'll be maintaining galleries all season.
