Families from Salem and all over came to Pickering Wharf Friday evening for some trick-or-treating.
Salemites Michael Reilly, his wife Bita, and kids River and Relic (dressed as spacemen) played it smart as dark settled in and the air got nippy — they opted for some hot chocolate at Jaho on Derby Street.
Visitors from out of town included four ladies from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut dressed as witches, while two young witches and a scary vampire came with their parents from Cambridge.
