The Hungry Whale has won our Best Of Salem subs competition.

King's Roast Beef also had a strong showing.

"I chose the Hungry Whale because the owners/staff are always nice, the place is always clean and the food is always fresh!," wrote Sarah L. "I went there this summer, a few times a week, solely for the Caprese Sandwich. I liked that they offer fresh and unique vegetarian options. I'm also a big ice cream fan, and I like that I can grab a sandwich and an ice cream at the same time."
