ANSWERED: Guess the Restaurant
Can you guess which Salem restaurant served this plate? We'll be back with the answer on Monday.
ANSWER: This is the slow-roasted pork sammie, the signature dish at The Old Spot.
I'm originally from North Carolina, so my standards are pretty high for barbecue. I give high marks to this sandwich. The rye bread and dijonnaise set off the meat nicely.
I also have to give The Old Spot props for taking such good care of my wife and our friend Laura. Warm, knowledgeable service in a welcoming, low-key atmosphere.
Thanks, everyone who made guesses this week!

Each Saturday I'll post a photo of a dish from one of Salem's restaurants. In the comment section, make your guess about which restaurant served the meal. I'll circle back with the answer on Monday.
Take a look at this week's meal and Guess the Restaurant in the comment section. Good luck!
