With the high gas prices, I am surprised there are not more reports of "gas theft" from cars. I had gas stolen weekly, a few years back but instead of having the police come out every time "after the fact" seemed like, just waste of a police officers time, so I Installed a "visible" camera and I have not had gas stolen since.
