Fund For Craigslist Rental Scam Victims Established at Salem Five

Funds will benefit those affected by the Craigslist rental scam on Boston Street.

 

A fund for the victims of the Craigslist rental scam has been established at Salem Five Bank.

Those wishing to help may do so by sending a check directly or going to the bank in person. The account information is as follows:

Rental Fraud Victims Fund

424 Essex St. Salem, MA 01970

Donna Anketell, a local woman who set up the account, said funds will be collected through the end of the month and then distributed to victims.

Suspect Jayson Fallis was arrested in connection with the case on Friday morning.

I hope Jayson Fallis will be made to pay back every penny! Great idea to help the folks short term, but Jayson needs to pay that all back!
