The Family Dollar store in Salem was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, according to scanner reports.

The report indicated the suspect showed a small silver handgun.

Salem Police said there was a lone gunman who was completely disguised, rushed at two employees and forced them to give him money. Nobody was hurt, police said.

At 10:05 p.m. Salem police detectives said they were currently working on the case.

Family dollar is located at 138 Canal St.
