Council to Hold Two Hearings on Wind Turbines

Wind turbines the topic of Thursday night's City Council meeting.

The City Council will hold two public hearings, including one before the elections, on the , Councilor at Large Steven Pinto said Thursday night.

Pinto said he and Councilor at Large Joan Lovely are working on scheduling the public hearings. No date has been set, but Pinto expects it to be “soon.”

Pinto said the issue is very complex and he wants to hold the hearings at the to give the council members a chance to learn all the details about the proposed wind turbine. He said he would invite the wind turbine manufacturers to make presentations at the hearings.
