Salem resident Darek Barcikowski attended an immigration reform meeting at The White House in Washington, D.C., Monday and was nice enough to send along a couple photos he snapped before things got underway.

Barcikowski and 13 other invited guests reportedly discussed the scope of
President Obama's proposal, the time frame for implementing it and the components of the proposal that are specific to the handful of ethnic groups represented at the meeting.

Barcikowski represented the Polish American ethnic group.

Barcikowski is the Publisher of The White Eagle newspaper, co-founder of White Eagle Media and former manager at Cafe Polonia in Salem.
