Ignoring the law can be done by people of any race or ethnicity. If they broke the law they should be reprimanded or punished - end of story.

What the heck does this have anything to do with Culture or race?! It doesn't matter who owns the place, they broke the law!!! You don't serve alcohol after hours and god knows what the "illegal activity" that was going on is. Whether you're white, black or purple. YOU BROKE THE LAW. Don't use culture or race as an excuse.

I could be wrong, but I think what commenter Michael McNeil was inferring is that this sort of thing (owner and employee having drinks after hours) happens all the time, but other establishments aren't punished for it.
What I find wrong is that the restaurant was given a warning for the actual offense -- serving alcohol after hours; but was given a 3-day suspension for the domestic fight. The fight, whether fueled by alcohol, is not germane to their liquor license, especially if the board deemed the drinking only worthy of a written warning. To me, the place was treated unfairly.
