Thursday, Nov. 8:

• At 4:34 p.m., police responded to a minor hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Essex and Washington streets involving a Mercury Tracer.
• At 4:52 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Bridge Street involving a Toyota Venza and a Dodge Neon.
• At 5:01 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Salem Street involving a Honda CRV and a Nissan Pathfinder.
• At 6:27 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Highland Avenue involving an Acura and a Dodge pickup.
• At 8:00 p.m., police responded to a report of larceny on Loring Avenue.
• At 9:20 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Boston Street involving a Honda Civic and a Kia Rio.
• At 9:54 p.m., police responded to a report of threats on Washington Street. They later arrested Whester O. Canela, 25, of 50 Warren St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property valued above $250 and intimidation of a witness.
• At 10:34 p.m., police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Essex Street.

Friday, Nov. 9: 

• At 12:35 a.m., police concluded a week-long investigation into fraudulent credit card use in several Salem establishments and applied for two warrants.
• At 12:51 a.m., police responded to a report of a loud college party on Hancock Street.
• At 1:02 a.m., police received word that there was a deer in the median at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Swampscott Road.
• At 10:32 a.m., police responded to a report of a man trying car door handles on Sewall Street.
• At 11:55 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on North Street for making an improper left turn. Jason J. Maneiro, 35, of 120 County Road, Ipswich, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
• At 11:56 a.m., police received word that there was fresh vandalism on Highland Avenue.
• At 2:20 p.m., the director an after-school program at the Boys and Girls Club on Hawthorne Boulevard reported that sometime between 1:30 and 2:15 p.m. someone entered the Boys and Girls Club and stole two flat-screen televisions. A window and door were broken and a 32" TV was stolen from the Kids Club room and a 46" TV was stolen from the Teen Center room. 
• At 3:20 p.m., a Porter Street Court resident called police to report that someone stole his bike.
• At 3:49 p.m., police responded to a report of a man in distress at the MBTA train station. Keaton W. Heckman, 23, of the streets of Waskefield, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class A substance (heroin).
