Friday, Jan. 13
Get So Sweet — Salem's So Sweet Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival might not begin until February, but you can get a little closer to this sweet event right now. Today, the Salem Chamber of Commerce will begin selling advance tickets to the Feb. 10 Chocolate and Wine Tasting event to be held at Hamilton Hall. Make sure you get your tickets now; this popular event sells out quickly.
Saturday, Jan. 14
Get Into History — The first Winter Weekend Program at the Phillips House begins today at 3 p.m. Head on over to the Phillips House to see how its past residents made it through the winter weather. For all of you missing the snow, living vicariously through Salem's history might hold you over until we get a storm of our own.
Visit with Members of the Wampanoag Nation — Members of the Wampanoag Nation will be at the Peabody Essex Museum to share song and history that goes back generation. For more information, check here.
Sunday, Jan. 15
Bid Adieu for the Season — The Lobster Shanty will be closing for the season. Enjoy the bar and friends before hibernation. The fun begins at noon Sunday and will finish up for a final toast Monday at 1 a.m.

Paint Salem Yellow — on Friday, Saturday and Sunday make some time to Paint the Town Yellow for Cervical Cancer Awareness. Music and events are scheduled at Rockafellas, Vic's and 62 Restaurant & Wine Bar. For more events, check the Painting Salem Yellow Facebook page.
