School Officials Warn Staff of SSU Data Breach
WCVB Boston is reporting that there was recently a data breach at Salem State University.
According to a report recently posted on the WCVB Boston website, officials at Salem State University have sent a letter to current and former employees warning that their personal information may have been compromised during a recent data breach.
A letter was sent out on March 11 after the college's virus detection software noticed the issue, according to WCVB.
The college is now offering to pay for one year of identification protection services.
