Giunta Interviewed on Reaction to Chile Miners Rescue

Gerry Guinta joined the Salem Fire Department in 1983 and has successfully worked his way up through the ranks, becoming a Deputy Chief in 2007. He is a member of Massachusetts Task Force 1, the Beverly, MA.-based FEMA Urban Search And Rescue team. He is also the founder and team leader of Salem Fire Department's Special Operations Unit which consists of a 34 member Technical Rescue Team (TRT).

Gerry was interviewed Wednesday by WBZ-TV reporter Peg Rusconi about his thoughts and feelings of the unprecedented rescue of the 33 miners trapped in the gold and copper mine of northern Chile.
